does anyone remember the name of a pretty old and very in depth space mmorts where u could colonize planets build up fleets and the game could actually call u on a cell phone or send u a page on a pager when u were under attack and stuff. the graphics were similar to that of homeworld a bit less perhaps and it was all in real time

Time of defiance is the one you're thinking of. Hardly populated and tech wise static now imo - ive moved over to boundless planet - a constantly developing mmorts similar to C&C and starcraft.

Does anyone remember 'TradeWars'? Maybe I'm dating myself, but I played that on the local BBS' way back in the day.

Glad to be part of the forums.
